Stairs, pillars and structure: 110 3D models for D&D maps
Structure is what turns a floor plan into a place with height: stairs, platforms, columns, arches and bridges. Height is where a 3D table earns its keep, because the ruler counts it and the archer on the balcony actually is above the fighter.
110 of these 110 models are CC0 or CC BY and can be downloaded as GLB from their page. Every one is ready to place in TerrainTale, where the free plan includes the whole library.
Using stairs, pillars and structure on a battle map
- Stairs and platforms are where a fight changes: put the archers up high and let the ruler count the height.
- A pillar is full cover for a Medium creature in one square; a row of them makes a dangerous colonnade.
- Bridges and walkways over a drop give shoves and falls real stakes.
