About this model
An L-shaped dado band for a factory facade, a horizontal trim strip that runs around a corner partway up the wall. It is dark grey and plain. It spans about 10.5 by 10.5 ft, two squares per arm, and is 2 ft tall.
Use it to add a horizontal break to factory walls on an industrial map. It is detail rather than cover. A ledge like this can be used by climbers or cats. Set it at the same height on every corner so the factory reads as one building. The band also gives a visual cue for how tall the walls are, which helps players judge a climb.
Ideas for the table
- A cat burglar inches along the dado ledge of a factory wall.
- Pigeons line the dado strip and scatter when gunfire erupts.
- A note is tucked behind the dado trim, left by a worker who vanished.
