About this model
A long stretch of pale grey curtain wall with crenellations, a gatehouse with a small arch and a round tower at one end. It is about 50 ft long, 7.5 ft deep and 13.5 ft tall, ten squares of wall. It also stands well on its own as a ruined frontier fortification on a hill.
Use it to close off a town, guard a mountain pass or form the front of a castle. The wall blocks sight and movement, the battlements give defenders cover, and the towers anchor the corners. It makes an excellent stage for sieges, escapes and ambushes along the walkway.
Ideas for the table
- Defenders on the battlements pour oil on ladders as a horde of undead climbs.
- The party must cross the town wall by night while the guard changes in the tower.
- A sapper's tunnel is due to bring down the wall at dawn, and only the party knows where it ends.
