About this model
A ring of tall grey stone gothic arches on slender columns, open to the sky like the ruin of a chapter house or chapel. It covers about 25 ft by 24.5 ft, five squares across, and rises about 13.5 ft high.
Use it as a ruined temple, a druid ring, a cemetery chapel or the heart of a haunted abbey. The columns give cover and the arches frame views across the space, so it suits fights with several angles of attack. It is also a natural place for rituals, duels and spectral visitors.
Ideas for the table
- A coven meets at midnight inside a ring of ruined arches and will not tolerate guests.
- A spectral knight challenges the party to a duel within an abbey's broken arches.
- Gargoyles perch on the arches and wait for someone to step into the centre.
