Hollowdeep Cells
Torchlit stone corridors, a guard room, cells and a treasure vault.

The place
Setting: Underground, torchlight and long shadows
The classic dungeon crawl, built to the 5-foot grid. Stone-brick corridors with doorways and archways, a guard room with a table and weapon racks, a row of cells with sarcophagi and skeletons, and a vault at the end with the chest that started all this. Torches throw real shadows and the bloom on the flames reads from across the room.
What the recipe places
- 7 floor and road ops
- 11 wall runs
- 43 props, lines and scatters
- 12 lights and effects
- 9 miniatures

Encounters it was built for
- A corridor fight where the archway is a choke point and the guard room is the flank.
- The cells: something is still in one of them, and the door is the only way in.
- The vault trap: the treasure chest is the bait, and the top-down view shows who is in range.
Tips
- Press T for the top-down view when the players need to see the whole layout.
- Every torch on the shelf is a light source; add one per wall sconce and the corridors light themselves.
- Skeletons come rigged and animated; they idle in place until it is their turn.
