About this model
A stepped plinth of mossy grey stone, a broad base with a smaller block and slab on top. It is about 3 ft square and 3 ft tall, reaching waist height.
Use it to hold a statue, an idol, a crystal, a brazier or a treasure the party has come to steal. It suits temples, ruins and wizard towers equally well. On the map it is a small obstacle with good cover, and it marks the spot players should care about, which makes it ideal for puzzles and set pieces.
Ideas for the table
- An idol on a mossy plinth is guarded by a pressure plate that only a halfling's weight will not trigger.
- Four plinths in a tomb need four relics, and the party has only found three.
- A crystal on a stone plinth powers the wards on a wizard's tower, and smashing it starts a countdown.
