About this model
A market stall cart with a striped canopy, barrels, crates and a small handcart beside it, all in worn wood. It covers about 15 ft by 9.5 ft, three squares by two, and stands about 6.5 ft tall. Placed beside a well or a fountain, it immediately suggests a lively town square.
Use it in market squares, roadside fairs, ports and caravan stops. A stall with goods and barrels gives good cover in a street fight, and knocking barrels over is always tempting. It also gives the party someone to talk to, haggle with and buy information from.
Ideas for the table
- A trader's barrels hide the contraband the party is searching for.
- A street fight breaks out between rival vendors, and the party must decide whose side to take.
- A cart stall rolls away downhill with the stallholder still inside during a chase.
