About this model
A large angled apartment facade panel without openings, finished in a warm terracotta-brown surface. It runs diagonally to round off a building corner. It covers about 10 by 10 ft, two squares each way, and stands about 10 ft tall.
Use it to fill solid stretches of building wall on a modern street map. It is full cover and blocks line of sight completely. Plain walls give the eye a rest between doors and windows and make a convincing city block. Its diagonal line softens a street corner so the block does not read as a plain box. A few posters or a lamp placed against it give the surface life.
Ideas for the table
- A sniper's shot ricochets off a blank corner wall, revealing her position to the party.
- Graffiti on a plain apartment wall turns out to be a coded message between rival gangs.
- The party presses against the angled wall as a patrol car passes.
