About this model
A raised square platform of mottled flagstone, one step high. It is 5 ft by 5 ft and 1 ft tall, one grid square. The stone is a warm mottled brown, and the edges are cut square.
Use it for altars, thrones, stages or summoning circles. It raises a figure above the floor and draws attention. Combine several for a larger platform. Its single step lifts whoever stands there about a foot above the floor, enough to give them a commanding view over a crowd. Lay several together to build a stage in a guildhall or a sacrificial platform in a temple. The edge is easy to step up, so it does not slow anyone in a fight.
Ideas for the table
- A cult leader stands on the dais, chanting as the ritual reaches its climax.
- A throne sits on a dais at the head of the great hall.
- A summoning circle drawn on a dais flares to life.
