About this model
A frame of tall weathered posts linked by cross beams, the skeleton of a pier section with little or no decking left. The timber is grey and cracked. It spans about 8 ft by 10.5 ft and stands around 13.5 ft tall.
Use it to show a pier under construction, a ruined dock or the supports of a stilt house. Without a full deck, the beams become narrow paths for agile characters, and the posts offer partial cover in a fight around the water. It also works as scaffolding in a dockyard.
Ideas for the table
- Workers abandoned the half-built pier after strange lights appeared under the water.
- A nimble thief flees across the beams while the party wonders whether to follow.
- The cult has hung offerings from the cross beams to appease something in the bay.
