About this model
A long, low boulder of mottled stone with patches of moss and a rough, layered face. It looks heavy and well settled. The rock is about 8.5 ft wide, 10.5 ft long and 4 ft tall, spanning roughly two squares by two.
Place it along trails, streams and hillsides to shape the battlefield. Its height offers cover for anyone crouching behind it, and its length makes a natural wall in an outdoor fight. Mossy boulders also give a scene a sense of age and quiet. Its low top is easy to climb onto from any side.
Ideas for the table
- A troll sleeps curled against the far side of the boulder, mistaken for another rock.
- Pilgrims leave offerings on top of the boulder for a forest spirit.
- The party crouches behind the long rock while giant wasps patrol the clearing.
