About this model
A sprawling, low shrub with thin woody branches and clusters of small yellow-green leaves. It looks dry and leggy. The shrub is about 4.5 ft wide, 5.5 ft deep and 5.5 ft tall, around one square across.
Use it in heathland, scrub, dry hills, untended gardens and the edges of deserts. It offers light concealment to anyone ducking behind it but no real protection. A cluster of these suits a wild landscape that feels rough and windblown. Dotted along a gully or the foot of a cliff, it makes the land look dry and hard to farm. It also gives a sniper on a slope something to crouch behind.
Ideas for the table
- A gnoll pack watches the trail from behind the scrubby bushes.
- A rare beetle lives only in these shrubs, and an alchemist wants a jar of them.
- The shrubs catch fire during a dragon's attack, turning the hillside into a blaze.
