About this model
A broad, low shrub with tangled woody branches and sparse clusters of dull green and brown leaves. It looks dry and spreading. The shrub is about 6 ft wide, 7.5 ft deep and 4.5 ft tall, more than a square and a half across.
Use it to fill out scrubland, rocky slopes, overgrown ruins and the outskirts of a desert. At this size a crouching character can hide behind it, though it will not stop an arrow. A few of these make a patch of rough ground that slows a careful advance.
Ideas for the table
- A wounded scout lies hidden in the wide shrub, too weak to call out.
- Thorny branches catch a fleeing thief's cloak, leaving a scrap of cloth for the party to follow.
- A family of giant lizards nests beneath the spreading shrub.
