About this model
A thin, wiry shrub with sparse branches and small clusters of pale leaves. It looks hardy and slightly windswept. The shrub is about 3.5 ft wide, 4 ft deep and 5 ft tall, under one square.
Scatter it across dry hillsides, coastal cliffs and abandoned fields. It is light cover at best but gives a landscape texture and height. Several together make a patchy thicket that sneaking characters can use to stay out of sight. Its sparse branches let tokens remain visible, which is useful when the DM wants concealment without hiding the miniatures. It suits salt marsh and sandy dunes as well.
Ideas for the table
- A thief hides in the thin shrubs and hopes the guards do not look too closely.
- Wild goats graze among the shrubs on the cliff, and one has a message tied to its horn.
- The shrubs part to reveal a narrow path down to a hidden cove.
