About this model
A single weathered rock in warm sandy tones, rough and angular with darker pitting across its faces. It is a small stone, about half a foot across, sitting well inside a single square. Its colour sits well against dirt and grass alike.
Use it as ground dressing on a riverbank, a mountain path, a desert trail or a ruined courtyard. A handful scattered together breaks up flat terrain and makes the ground feel natural. On its own it is a throwable rock, a marker for a cache, or a detail players can be told to search under.
Ideas for the table
- A rock that is slightly too clean marks the spot where a smuggler buried a pouch of coins.
- Kobolds pelt the party with stones like this one from the top of a scree slope.
- A druid asks the party to return a sacred stone to the cairn it was stolen from.
