About this model
A tall, rounded boulder with a warm brown and ochre surface, rough and craggy with traces of moss. It looks solid and ancient. The rock is about 7 ft wide, 6.5 ft deep and 6 ft tall, taller than most humans and wider than a square.
Use it to block sight lines in a forest or hill map, as a landmark, or as a climbable vantage point. It fully hides a Medium creature behind it and makes a good spot for an ambush. A cluster of these can create a natural maze.
Ideas for the table
- A lookout on top of the boulder spots the party long before they reach the bandit camp.
- The boulder is a giant's game piece, and the giant wants it back.
- Ancient carvings on the hidden side of the rock show the route to a lost temple.
