About this model
A tall, slender shrub with upright stems carrying bright yellow-green leaves and seed heads at the top. It looks wild and leggy, like a roadside weed bush. The plant is about half a foot wide and 1.5 ft tall in its bounding box, a slim piece on the grid.
Use it along hedgerows, ditches, riverbanks and overgrown gardens. Its height and colour break up lower ground cover. On its own it hides very little, but grouped with grass and nettles it builds a convincing wild border. Several in a row along a ditch make a clear boundary between field and road.
Ideas for the table
- Seed heads on the tall shrubs are covered in fresh blood, marking where the beast passed.
- A pixie uses the shrub's seed heads as arrows in a tiny bow.
- The party follows a line of tall shrubs that grow only along an underground stream.
