About this model
A big, elongated boulder of tan and grey stone with patches of moss and a craggy surface. It looks like a natural outcrop rising from the forest floor. The rock is about 7.5 ft wide, 11 ft long and 5 ft tall, covering about two squares by two.
Use it as a major piece of terrain in forests, mountains and wild riverbanks. At this size it blocks sight for most characters and gives a meaningful high point to climb. It makes a natural centrepiece for an ambush or a camp.
Ideas for the table
- The party makes camp in the lee of the great rock and is attacked by wolves after dark.
- A rock gnome has built a tiny workshop inside a crack in the boulder.
- Climbing the rock gives the scout a view of the enemy camp across the valley.
