About this model
A white glazed ceramic jug with a rounded belly, a long neck and a pinched pouring lip. It is about half a foot wide and 1.5 ft tall, a slender piece for a table or shelf.
Use it to dress manor kitchens, inns, temples and dining tables. It has no combat value, but it is easy to smash, which can serve as a noisy distraction or a signal. Set one on a windowsill or side table to break up a plain interior with a bright, clean shape. A pair of them flanking a doorway also reads well from above.
Ideas for the table
- A spy signals the guards by knocking a white jug off a windowsill.
- The milk jug on a farmhouse table has curdled overnight, a sign that a hag lives nearby.
- Temple acolytes fill white jugs with blessed water for the party before the exorcism.
