About this model
An S-shaped rectangular metal duct piece that steps from one height to another with a smooth double curve. The finish is dark and reflective with bright metal trim at the ends. It is about 2 ft wide, 4 ft long and 3 ft tall, sitting in one square.
Combine it with straight and bend sections to route ventilation around obstacles in a building or ship. It suggests infrastructure without adding much clutter. In a stealth scene, the curve hides a character from sight until they are almost on top of a guard.
Ideas for the table
- A smuggler hides contraband inside the curved duct section of a cargo ship's engine room.
- The party must crawl through the S-bend while a security drone patrols the room below.
- An alien creature has wrapped itself around the duct curve and waits for warm bodies.
