About this model
A small rectangular ammunition can in dark brown-green metal with a hinged lid and a carrying handle. The paint is scratched and worn at the edges. It is about 0.5 ft wide, 1 ft long and 0.5 ft tall, a tiny object well inside one square.
Place it in a bunker, a military camp, a survivalist's cellar or a post-apocalyptic scavenger's hideout. It is set dressing and loot rather than cover. Scatter a few around a firing position to show that someone held this spot for a long time. An open lid can also hint that the defenders ran low.
Ideas for the table
- An ammo can found in a ruined bunker holds no bullets, only a stack of old letters.
- Scavengers fight over a single ammo box in a collapsed supermarket.
- The party must carry ammunition cans between two firing positions while under fire.
