About this model
A pair of outdoor air-conditioning units in pale grey metal with circular fan grilles and pipes running out the side, set on small brackets. They look weathered from years on a wall or rooftop. Together they span about 6 ft across, 1.5 ft deep and 3 ft high, a little over one square wide.
Mount them on a rooftop, a back alley wall or a utility yard in a modern city map. They provide low cover on a roof fight and give a rooftop real-world clutter. The hum and blast of hot air from them can also mask footsteps.
Ideas for the table
- A sniper on an office rooftop hides between the aircon units while scanning the street below.
- The fans of a rooftop air unit stop spinning, and the maintenance tech who went to check has not come back.
- A courier jumps from roof to roof and uses the aircon units as stepping stones.
