About this model
A U-bend of dark green industrial pipe, two flanged ends turned up side by side. It measures about 2 ft wide and 1.5 ft tall. The dark green finish is worn at the flanges. A U-bend near the floor is also a sensible place for a slow leak, giving the DM a puddle, a smell or a trail to follow toward something worse.
Use it to join two parallel pipes or as a trap under heavy plumbing. It adds variety to a pipe network in a factory, sewer or ship. A U-bend also reads well as a place where things get stuck, which is useful for clues and loot.
Ideas for the table
- A ring lost down a drain is caught in the U-bend.
- Something living has made a nest in the bend and does not like being disturbed.
- The bend has blocked, and the room is slowly flooding.
