About this model
A right-angle elbow of dark industrial pipe with a flange at each end. It is a compact corner fitting, about 1.5 ft wide and 1.5 ft tall. Its flanges are bolted and slightly rusted, matching the rest of the set. A cluster of elbows where several runs turn together suggests a junction worth inspecting, and a hissing or dripping elbow is an easy way to signal pressure building somewhere nearby.
Use it to turn a pipe run round a corner or bring a pipe out of a wall. It is set dressing that helps a run of plumbing look complete. In a boiler room or sewer it fills the small gaps that make the space feel properly built.
Ideas for the table
- Steam vents from a cracked elbow every few rounds.
- A gauge on the elbow shows pressure rising dangerously.
- Someone has hidden a key inside the dry end of the elbow.
