About this model
A small red gas cylinder, rounded and rusted, with a carrying collar on top. It looks like an old propane bottle for a camping stove or portable heater. It is about 1.5 ft across and 2 ft tall. Keep it near an open flame and the players will notice. A dented one looks even more worrying.
Place it in kitchens, workshops, camps or shanty towns. On the battle map it is a hazard players will spot: a container of fuel that could burn or burst if things go badly. It also works as a throwable object or a distraction.
Ideas for the table
- A leaking cylinder fills the cellar with a smell that warns against lighting a torch.
- Raiders have stacked gas cylinders by the door as a crude trap.
- A cook in the shanty town trades a full cylinder for news of the outside world.
