About this model
A very large ash tree with a thick trunk and a wide, dense crown of green leaves, the kind that stands alone in a meadow for centuries. It measures about 32 ft by 28.5 ft and stands 31.5 ft tall, covering roughly six squares by six.
Use it as a landmark in a village square, a sacred grove, a battlefield or an open meadow. It shapes the scene with full cover at its trunk and a canopy that hides climbers. Its sheer size draws the eye, making it an ideal focal point for a story.
Ideas for the table
- The great ash is the meeting place of the local druid circle, and tonight they gather for a vote.
- Lightning strikes the great ash during a storm, setting it alight just as the party arrives.
- A dryad bound to the great ash asks the party to stop the loggers marking it for felling.
