About this model
A low weathered stump with a rounded, earthy top and moss in the hollows, sitting heavily in the ground. It is about 5 ft by 4.5 ft wide and 1.5 ft high, filling a single square.
It suits clearings, logging roads, overgrown villages and the edges of farmland pushing into the forest. Use it as a perch, a table for a woodland picnic, or low cover in a skirmish. Several in a row show where a grove was cut down, which may give the local dryads a reason to be angry.
Ideas for the table
- A circle of fresh stumps is all that remains of a sacred grove, and its guardian wants the loggers found.
- Goblins use this stump as a lookout post and keep a horn hidden in a hollow beside it.
- A sleeping druid in animal shape curls up on the stump and wakes when the party walks past.
