About this model
A dark bronze bust of a bull's head with curved horns, mounted on a round black plinth. It stands about 1.5 ft tall and a foot across, a heavy ornament for a mantel, plinth or desk.
It suits hunting lodges, minotaur cults, arena offices and wealthy merchant homes. It is decoration in a fight, but it makes a strong focal point: a statue whose eyes follow the party, a lever that opens a secret door when the horns are turned, or a trophy someone wants stolen. On a labyrinth map it hints at what waits at the centre.
Ideas for the table
- Twisting the horns of a bronze bull bust on the arena master's desk opens a passage to the fighting pits.
- A minotaur cult keeps the bust on its altar and believes it speaks during the full moon.
- A rival collector hires the party to steal the bull's head from a heavily guarded hunting lodge.
