About this model
A wide, shallow brass basin with a dark interior, a rolled rim and small side handles. It is about a foot across and half a foot tall, low and open like a mixing bowl or offering dish.
Use it on temple altars as an offering bowl, in kitchens for washing, or in a shrine for scrying water. It is decoration in a fight, but as a prop it invites interaction: coins dropped in it, blood poured into it, or a reflection in the water that shows something far away. In a market scene several bowls on a stall add metalwork detail.
Ideas for the table
- The water in a brass basin at a hilltop shrine shows the party a vision of the next attack.
- Pilgrims drop silver coins in the offering basin, and a thief is watching to steal them at nightfall.
- A cult demands each member bleed a few drops into the basin before the ritual begins.
