About this model
A small brass frying pan with a polished round body and a long handle bound in red cord. It is about 1.5 ft long including the handle and half a foot across, a thin, flat object lying on a surface.
Place it on a kitchen counter, a campfire, a stove or a market stall. It is set dressing for taverns, inns, galley kitchens and camp scenes. It has no combat role on the grid, but a frying pan is a classic improvised weapon in a comic brawl, and a pan left on the fire can tell players someone was cooking here only moments ago.
Ideas for the table
- An innkeeper's cook defends the kitchen with a brass pan when kobolds come through the back door.
- A pan still sizzling over a camp's embers shows the bandits fled moments before the party arrived.
- A hag has enchanted a frying pan so that whatever it cooks reveals the eater's secrets.
