About this model
An antique estoc, a long thrusting sword with a slender blade, plain crossguard and simple grip, stood upright. It looks old and functional. It is about 5 ft long, a foot across at the guard and half a foot deep. The long thin blade is made for thrusting through armour. It looks old but well kept. It suits a noble's study, a castle armoury or a museum case.
Place it in armouries, castles, museums and a noble's study. It is a weapon prop or treasure. A sword on display invites someone to take it down in a fight.
Ideas for the table
- The estoc on the wall is the only weapon in the room when the assassin strikes.
- An heirloom sword has gone missing, and the party must find it.
- The estoc is cursed, and whoever draws it hears whispers.
