About this model
A long straight section of dark industrial pipe with flanges at both ends. It is the tall piece in the pipe set, about 6.5 ft long and half a foot thick. Two or three side by side make a convincing riser, and a character can press flat behind a cluster of them when someone walks past with a lantern.
Run it vertically up a wall or horizontally along a ceiling in a boiler room, refinery or sewer. Characters can climb a sturdy vertical pipe to reach a gantry or a high window. In tight spaces several of these make a maze of plumbing to fight around.
Ideas for the table
- A vertical pipe leads straight up to an unguarded catwalk.
- A rogue clings to the pipe above while guards pass below.
- Strange noises travel along the pipe from somewhere far beneath the city.
