About this model
A red fire extinguisher with a black hose, mounted on a small red stand with white lettering. It looks like a standard modern office or factory unit. It is about 2 ft tall and a foot across, a small object within a single square.
Scatter it through modern buildings, labs, ships or warehouses where fire safety would be expected. In a fight it is something characters can grab and use: to put out a burning ally, to fill a corridor with spray, or as a heavy object to swing. Its presence also hints that fire may be part of the encounter.
Ideas for the table
- A lab fire spreads unless someone reaches the extinguisher across the room.
- A burst of extinguisher powder gives the party a moment to flee unseen.
- The extinguisher has been emptied and refilled with something far less helpful.
