About this model
A dark ceiling fan with four curved blades and a central motor housing, mounted on a short rod. It looks simple and modern. The fan spans about 5 ft across, one square, and stands 1.5 ft tall from mount to blades.
Hang it in a hotel room, a sweaty office, a bar in the tropics or a noir detective's den. It is pure atmosphere, but it can stir smoke or fog. A slowly turning fan over an interrogation scene sets the mood immediately. On the grid, place it over a table or bed so its position makes sense to players looking from above.
Ideas for the table
- The ceiling fan in a seedy hotel room turns slowly over a body that was not there an hour ago.
- A detective watches the fan spin while a client lies to her about a missing husband.
- During a fight, someone leaps onto a table and grabs the fan, which promptly gives way.
