About this model
A sturdy low stool or small bench with a thick rectangular top and chunky splayed legs, in reddish weathered wood. It is about 1 ft wide, half a foot deep and half a foot high, a short block of furniture. Its legs are cut from thick, rough timber.
Use it in a blacksmith's forge, a farmyard, a milking shed or a rustic kitchen. It is solid enough to stand on and easy to carry. In play it raises a short character, props a door or becomes a heavy improvised weapon.
Ideas for the table
- A blacksmith's stool hides a trapdoor beneath it, covered in soot and metal shavings.
- The halfling stands on the stool to see over the crowd and spots the pickpocket.
- A farmer swings his milking stool at a goblin raiding his barn.
