About this model
A square stool with chipped white paint over grey wood, four straight legs and low cross braces. It is about 1.5 ft square and 2 ft tall, inside a single square. It looks well used and a little wobbly, with grime gathered at the feet.
Use it in a farmhouse kitchen, a painter's studio, a bar or a modern workshop. Its worn finish suits rustic and shabby-chic scenes. In a scuffle it is light clutter, a seat to stand on, or something to throw. Set one by a counter or easel to suggest someone stepped away a moment ago. It suits modern and fantasy rooms equally well.
Ideas for the table
- Paint drips on the white stool match the colour on the murdered artist's last canvas.
- A bartender keeps a cudgel hidden under the stool behind the counter.
- Children use a stool to climb up and look out the window, spotting the approaching riders first.
