About this model
A low sideboard with a wooden top, a bank of drawers and a framed side opening, set on slim metal legs. It is about 4.5 ft wide, 2 ft deep and 2.5 ft tall, nearly a full square. The metal frame gives it a practical, workshop look rather than a homely one.
It fits a workshop, an office, a laboratory or a modern home. The drawers make it an obvious place to search. In a fight it offers low cover and can be pushed to block a doorway. It also works in a near-future or industrial setting. Anything left on top can be swept off in a hurry.
Ideas for the table
- Drawers in the lab sideboard hold notes on an experiment that has escaped.
- A thief hides behind the sideboard while guards sweep the office with lanterns.
- The party uses the sideboard to barricade a door against a horde of cultists.
