About this model
A rectangular table with a polished orange-brown wooden top and four slim square legs. It is about 3.5 ft by 2.5 ft and 2.5 ft tall, roughly two-thirds of a square. The finish is glossy and even, with clean straight edges that suit a tidy room.
Place it in a dining room, an inn, a shop or a study. It holds maps, meals or ritual components. In a fight it can be flipped for half cover, jumped across or crawled under. Pair it with two chairs for a quiet interview, or push several together for a feast. In a cramped room it is often the only thing between the party and the door, and creatures can crawl beneath it too.
Ideas for the table
- The party's patron spreads a map across the table and points to a mountain pass guarded by trolls.
- An assassin flips the dining table and hides behind it as the guards rush in.
- A seance at the table becomes dangerous when it starts to rise off the floor.
