About this model
A smooth turned bowl in warm orange wood with a curving, slightly lopsided rim, lighter and more polished than a rough carved one. It is about half a foot across, a small piece for a table or shelf. The inside has a faint sheen where it has been rubbed with oil.
Use it in a kitchen, an apothecary, a temple offering niche or a well-kept cottage. It adds a homely touch alongside plates and cutting boards. At the table it holds coins, herbs, dice or a key, and players will check what is inside. A few on a shelf suggest a careful household.
Ideas for the table
- A bowl of coins at the temple entrance is meant for offerings, but someone has been swapping silver for lead.
- A healer grinds herbs in a small wooden bowl while the party guards her hut from wolves.
- The key to the cellar sits in a bowl of dried beans on the kitchen shelf.
