About this model
A tall oil lamp on a brass base, with a painted glass font decorated with flowers and a long dark chimney rising from the top. It stands about 2.5 ft tall on a footprint of half a foot, a slim piece for a table or sideboard.
Place it in a Victorian parlour, an antique shop, a gothic manor or a well-off townhouse. Add a light to it and it casts warm, real shadows across the room, which suits investigation and horror scenes. A knocked-over lamp is a handy way to start a fire or plunge a room into darkness.
Ideas for the table
- The only lamp in the study gutters out just as the medium begins the séance.
- A werewolf in human form knocks the lamp over, setting the drapes alight to cover its escape.
- The lamp's painted glass shows a garden that matches the overgrown one behind the abandoned manor.
