About this model
A bulkhead wall light with a domed glass cover inside a protective metal cage. It is the sort fitted outside back doors, in ship corridors and in tunnels. It is about a foot wide and 1.5 ft tall. The cage protects the glass from knocks.
Mount it on walls beside doors, along tunnels or on the outside of a warehouse. Lights cast real shadows, so one lamp over a back door creates a lit patch with shadows on either side. It is a simple way to show where guards will see someone approaching.
Ideas for the table
- The lamp over the back door is the only light in the alley.
- A guard keeps glancing at the lamp, waiting for a signal flash.
- Smashing the lamp lets the party reach the door unseen.
