About this model
A set of flat neon signs in pink, green, blue and orange, with East Asian characters and symbols. It is about 15 ft wide and 15 ft tall, a panel to hang on a building wall. The colours read best on a dark map or a night scene.
Use it on cyberpunk and modern city streets, night markets and dance clubs. Neon gives a scene its mood, and lights cast real shadows on the map. A street full of signs feels busy and dangerous, and a flickering sign is a fine cue for something going wrong.
Ideas for the table
- A gang meets under flickering neon signs in a back alley.
- The party follows a code spelled out in a bar's neon sign.
- A power cut kills every neon sign on the street, and the shooting begins in the dark.
