About this model
A rectangular wooden planter box made of weathered planks, empty and slightly worn. It looks like a crate built for flowers or herbs. The box is about 3 ft long, 1.5 ft deep and 1.5 ft tall, sitting within a single square.
Place it outside a cottage, along a market street, on a balcony, in a courtyard garden or in a city square. Filled or empty, it adds domestic detail. In combat it is low cover for someone crouching behind it, and a line of planters can channel movement down a street.
Ideas for the table
- The planter box hides a bag of stolen coins buried under a thin layer of soil.
- A herbalist's planter has been dug up overnight, and only the wolfsbane is missing.
- During a street fight the party crouches behind the planters while crossbow bolts thud into the wood.
