About this model
A long-hafted war hammer with a dark metal head that has a flat striking face and a spiked back. The shaft looks decorated along its length. It is about 2.5 ft long and very slim.
Place it on an armoury wall, beside a dwarven forge, at a war shrine or on a fallen champion's tomb. It reads as a weapon of knights, clerics or dwarven warriors. As loot it is a strong reward; as a prop it can identify an order, a family or a foe who came this way.
Ideas for the table
- The war hammer on the tomb glows faintly whenever a dwarf comes within reach.
- A smith refuses to repair the broken hammer until the party learns who owned it.
- A champion's hammer lies abandoned on the battlefield, and two factions both claim it.
