About this model
A flanged mace with a dark iron head and a long shaft wrapped in a grip near the base. It looks heavy and battle-ready. The weapon is about 2 ft long and quite slim.
Set it on an armoury wall, beside a priest's altar, in a guard room or among the spoils after a fight. It reads as a weapon of soldiers and war clerics, which can hint at who uses a room. Players may take it as loot, find it bloodied as a clue or need to retrieve it as a stolen relic.
Ideas for the table
- A temple's holy mace has been stolen, and the high priestess offers a reward for its return.
- A bloodied mace lies at the scene, though no one in the household knows how to use one.
- An animated mace in the armoury attacks anyone who reaches for the treasure chest.
