About this model
A long single-edged sword in a dark scabbard, with a wrapped hilt and a small guard. It has the slender curved profile of a katana. The blade and sheath together are about 3.5 ft long and very slim.
Use it as a prop in a samurai lord's hall, a martial dojo, an armoury, a weapon merchant's shop or an eastern-themed campaign. As an object on the map it is a reward to find, a weapon on display or a clue to who visited. It pairs naturally with a stand, so a DM can show it resting where its owner left it.
Ideas for the table
- The swordsmith will only hand over the finished katana once the party settles his debt.
- An unsheathed katana rests on the floor of the dojo, and its owner is nowhere to be found.
- A spirit bound to the katana challenges any character who draws it to a duel.
