About this model
A small white porcelain or marble figurine of a rearing horse on a round base with a red rim. It is delicate and decorative, clearly made for display. The statue is only about half a foot in every direction, so it sits on a shelf or table rather than on the floor.
Use it as a piece of set dressing in a wealthy home, a curiosity shop or a lady's dressing room. It is the classic small valuable for a heist or a fetch quest, easy to pocket and easy to break. In a scene it can also be a token of identity, a gift between lovers or a clue that ties two locations together.
Ideas for the table
- The party must recover a matching pair of horse figurines before the wedding feast tonight.
- A thief replaces this figurine with a fake that shatters the moment anyone touches it.
- The horse figurine is a disguised phylactery, and breaking it ends the curse on the manor.
