About this model
A second straight run of thick fortress wall with crenellations and a walkway, weathered and slightly different in its stonework. It is about 14.5 ft thick, 50 ft long and 29.5 ft tall.
Use it alongside the first variant to avoid repeating the same texture across a long wall. It blocks movement and sight, and the walkway on top gives defenders a place to stand. It works for castles, city walls and frontier forts. A long run of these sections makes an impressive outer ring around a city, and the gaps between towers decide where the fiercest fighting happens in a siege.
Ideas for the table
- A city wall must hold for one more night until the relief army arrives.
- The party smuggles a prisoner out through a drain at the base of the city wall.
- Giants hurl boulders at the wall, and each hit shakes the defenders on top.
