About this model
A thick fortress wall corner with a slightly different angle and a crenellated walkway, built of weathered stone. It is about 25 ft by 20 ft and 30 ft tall, five by four squares.
Use it to turn a wall run where the first corner does not fit, or to vary the outline of a castle. It blocks line of sight and is effectively impassable without climbing gear or a breach. Defenders standing on it gain a long field of fire. Use it with the first corner piece so neighbouring angles of the same fortress do not look stamped from one mould.
Ideas for the table
- A breach in the corner forces the defenders to fall back to the keep.
- Goblins have tunnelled under the corner section and are about to collapse it.
- A watchman on the corner spots the party's approach unless they come at night.
