About this model
A larger thin-wall corner with a wider footprint and a crenellated walkway, weathered stone. It is about 20 ft by 20 ft and 32.5 ft tall.
Use it for bigger angles in a wall layout or to make a corner feel more substantial. It is impassable and blocks sight, and gives defenders a raised platform to shoot from. Pair it with towers for a convincing castle silhouette. The broad top here is roomy enough to hold a ballista or a small group of archers, which makes this corner a natural target for attackers trying to silence the defence. A lit brazier on top also casts long shadows down the wall.
Ideas for the table
- The corner platform holds a ballista aimed at the river approach.
- Smoke rises from the corner as enemy sappers set a fire at its base.
- A rope hangs from the corner, left by an escaped prisoner.
